Not all people on the site are plus-sized, but the main focus of these websites is on larger singles and curvy women. The site is aimed at reasonably serious dating and markets itself in long-term relationships. However, we found that the majority of users were looking for online flirting, one-time casual hookups, or a flirty affair rather than genuine relationships. As a male user, you might find that men dominate the site, and you're quite unlikely to receive any direct messages, so BBWCupid works best for single women - as do many websites!
Most users are in the age range of below 34, so perhaps this is why there is a lot of casual dating and hookups rather than the romance. You'll find that the average age of a male user is slightly higher, with a proportion of older guys looking for younger dates.
